The Kissers: Home

New Album Three Sails in the Works - October 3, 2014

We've been writing, arranging and recording! From Kevin's basement to Blast House Studios (with an occasional stop by the Malt House), we've put together what we feel is our finest work yet.

This album will be different than all of our others. We dug into the Celtic roots of our music and recorded a mostly "trad" album. Joe plays lots of Bodhran (the Irish drum) instead of drum set and all the instruments are acoustic.

This has been a very different venture for us, and we're very excited to release it. We are however, in need of help to do just that. We'll be starting up a Kickstarter campaign soon to help raise needed funds to complete the album. More on that soon.

In the meantime we hope to see you at the Janesville Irish Fest or McGuinness Irish Pub in Appleton this month! See all calendar dates.

Crystal Corner Bar - January 21, 2014

The Kissers at the Crystal Corner Bar

Crystal Corner Bar
w/ The Periodicals
February 1, 9:30pm

On January 1st, the home of the first Kissers' house gig O'Cayz Corral burned down. After playing every Monday night for 2 1/2 years we were suddenly without a home. We floated over to the late Ken's Bar for a few memorable months, and then in November of that year found our new home at the Crystal Corner Bar. We "reformed" as the Whiskey Lash All-Stars and resumed our Monday night outings. That lasted several more years before the band hit the road.

On February 1st we're happy to come back to our old stomping ground to play on a stage that's been shared by so many great blues, rockabilly and americana acts for decades. The Crystal is a true Madison musical institution, and so we'll be rolling out our finest musical wares to celebrate.

Hope to see you there!
